Do you already know Wesley? He has been running around the port since he was 19, where he started from scratch. In fact, when the surveyors were counting, Wesley Supusepa was lugging bags with the bale hook in the boat. Then he gradually made his career. By now, Wesley has really seen everything in the port.
From 1998 to 2008, he was a stevedore. From 2008 to 2010, he was an operator. And from 2010 he worked as a dry and liquid cargo surveyor. He took a short break as a manager at an oil and grease company for four years, but missed surveying too much and went back into the profession in 2022.
Recently he joined RVJ Cargo Inspections. Why RVJ Cargo Inspections? He likes working in a small team:”Here you are not just a number. New ideas are welcomed and I like to actively be involved in improving the service and seize new opportunities”.
What he likes most about the job? “It has so many different aspects and I can work independently”. And I am responsible for something from A to Z”.
His strengths? With his relaxed attitude he stays in control. And he knows how to create a positive team spirit, so that all people involved can do their jobs right and have fun at the same time.
And how about his spare time? He spends as much time as possible on his racing bike. Out in nature to clear his head from the intensity of the job.
